Who are our building inspection experts?

PBI employs only the top New York State licensed inspectors and all conform to NYS Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Our inspectors were awarded the designation of Certified Real Estate Inspector (CRI) which is the National Association of Home Inspector's highest degree of competency and proficiency. In addition, our inspectors are licensed home inspector instructors.

What are our environmental testing qualifications?

On our environmental testing side we perform mold testing, asbestos testing, lead paint testing, particulate & VOC testing, unknown odor detection, cause and origin determination, areas of contamination surveys and if requested, environmental impact and remediation plans.

We employ NYS licensed Mold Assessors, Certified Indoor Environmental Consultants, NYS DOL licensed asbestos inspectors, and EPA licensed Lead inspectors. Some of our inspectors are also NYS

What about our thermographers?

Every company seems to have a thermal imaging camera these days, but do they know how to use them properly? Our company offers thermal imaging inspections by Council-certified Environmental Thermography Consultants and one of the owners/inspectors of PBI sits on national boards for thermography and structural drying.

Our EIFS Inspectors

PBI's EIFS inspections are performed by AWCI certified inspectors. The staff at PBI maintains their leadership position in this area through their field experience and industry-sponsored continuing education and recertification.

What locations do we cover?

PBI proudly serves all of Long Island, New York City, Staten Island, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, Rockland County and parts of Connecticut seven days a week. Additional areas can be covered upon request.
